It’s Been 5 Years Since I Slept Through the Night
Sleep has been a fleeting encounter for me. I can fall asleep quickly, but wake around 3 a.m., unable to get back to sleep. It is rare when I actually sleep through the night.
Coffee was my morning saviour! I’d drink 2 cups, sometimes 3 to get going. I was never hungry, so I would skip breakfast. At work, I would drink tea and if I needed a late afternoon boost, I’d have another cup of coffee. After work, I looked forward to having a couple of glasses of wine to relax.
